The episode starts with Lakshmi saying to Rishi that his name should be like Mintu or Bantu something like that.
Ayush says to Malishka that he will drop her and asks Malishka to never return to this house again. Karishma asks Ayush how could he behave like that with Malishka. Karishma says to Ayush that she thinks of Malishka as a daughter and asks Ayush to never speak like that again. Ayush leaves from there. Karishma apologises to Malishka for Ayush’s behaviour with her. Malishka says to Karishma that she is only coming here for them. Malishka later leaves from there.
Lakshmi says to Rishi that his name will be Mintu from today onwards. Rishi agrees. Rishi later puts Lakshmi to sleep.
Rano asks Ayush what happened after she left. Ayush says nothing bad happened and says Lakhsmi completed the Karwa Chauth Ritual. Rano hearing this feels hopeful of Lakshmi getting well. Rano says to Ayush now they have to think about how to cure Lakshmi. Ayush agrees. Ayush takes his leave. Rano also takes her leave. Shalu and Bani also hope of Lakshmi getting well soon.
Rishi sees Lakshmi has gone to sleep. Rishi turns off the lights and goes to the terrace. Rishi prays to God and hopes that Lakshmi will get well soon. Virendra comes and asks Rishi what is he thinking about. Rishi says he is thinking about Lakshmi. Rishi asks Virendra if there is a Vrath with which Lakhsmi will get better and feels emotional. Virendra comforts Rishi and asks Rishi to stay strong and says if he loses hope then Lakshmi will never get well soon. Rishi agrees and says he will make sure Lakshmi gets cured no matter what.
Malishka comes to her home and complaints to Kiran about Ayush insulting her and asking her to never enter that house. Malishka says to Kiran that if she had married Rishi then she would have thrown Ayush out of that house. Kiran asks Malishka to not think about it as Karishma will support Ayush no matter what. Kiran says a mother will always support her kid no matter what. Kiran asks Malishka if she thinks Lakshmi will never be cured. Malishka says she will never allow Lakhsmi to be cured as if she gets better Rishi will never belong to her.
Lakshmi wakes up and sees Rishi is not beside her. Lakshmi gets scared and goes under the bed. Virendra says to Rishi that he first needs to wipe off the fear in Lakshmi’s heart only then will she be be able to get close to all the family members and help her in getting cured. Rishi agrees.
Rishi comes into the room and sees Lakshmi missing from the bed. Rishi later notices that Lakshmi went under the bed. Rishi goes under the bed and asks Lakshmi why is she here. Lakshmi says she is scared. Rishi asks Lakshmi why is she scared as she was the one who hit others with a stick last time so they should be scared of her. Lakshmi agrees.
Lakshmi and Rishi go to sleep beside each other.
Malishka asks Sonal if she did her work. Sonal says she gave money to the truck owner and sent him away out of the city. Sonal asks Malishka what is she thinking about. Malishka says she is thinking about doing something so that Lakshmi will never be able to come in between her and Rishi. Sonal asks Malishka to be careful and not make mistake like last time.
The next day, Lakshmi searches for her school uniform but she doesn’t find it. Lakshmi comes out of her room and runs into Mukesh who is carrying firecrackers. Mukesh says these are fire crackers. Lakshmi takes the fire crackers and wraps them around herself. Malishka sees this. Lakshmi sees Malishka and runs into her room. Malishka thinks this Diwali is going to be the best Diwali ever.
