The episode starts with Anushka telling Malishka that no matter what she does, she will never win against Lakshmi. Malishka asks Anushka to stay within her limits. Anushka replies that Rishi will be the one to show Malishka her limits. She then expresses her wish to have someone like Rishi in her life. Shalu steps on Anushka’s foot and escapes. Ayush asks Shalu to leave immediately.
Meanwhile, Neel grabs a gun from the cops and fires it into the air. He declares that no one will leave. Neel then orders Shalu to come back. Anushka takes Shalu hostage once again and taunts Ayush, asking if he really thinks he will get to live happily ever after with Shalu. She asserts that she will not let that happen. Ayush warns Anushka that he will kill her if she harms Shalu, to which Anushka mocks him.
Anushka then claims that everyone in this house has wronged her. Looking at Neelam, she tells her that she mistakenly believes she controls the household.
Lakshmi intervenes, telling Anushka that Neelam is the elder of the family and that she is not just speaking in her defense because Anushka was once the daughter-in-law of this house. Anushka questions why Lakshmi is interfering in her conversation with Neelam. Lakshmi replies that she is a part of this family and states that if Anushka wants to go against Neelam, she will have to face the whole family first. Lakshmi then demands that Neel release Shalu. Neel warns Lakshmi not to take another step and fires the gun into the air again.
Hearing the gunshot, Harleen, Aanchal, and Rano decide to check what is happening. However, Aanchal locks Harleen and Rano in a room, telling Harleen that if Neelam finds out she put Harleen in danger, she will be furious. Aanchal insists that Harleen stay in the room while she goes to investigate.
Neel warns that he fired into the air this time but will not hesitate to shoot Shalu next. He orders Lakshmi to step back. Lakshmi reassures Shalu not to worry, saying she is there for her.
Anushka questions Neel on why he hasn’t shot Shalu yet, blaming Shalu for ruining his life. She then insults Shalu and threatens to kill her.
Ayush pulls Anushka aside and begs her not to do this. Anushka then taunts Ayush, reminding him how he always treated her unfairly and how he always thought about Shalu even when he was with her. She demands that Ayush apply sindoor to her hairline. Ayush refuses.
Neel urges Anushka to stop, but she tells him not to interfere, making it clear that she doesn’t see him as her husband. She states that the only relationship between them is money. Once again, Anushka demands Ayush apply sindoor to her hairline, but he stands firm in his refusal.
Blaming Shalu for Ayush’s refusal, Anushka attempts to stab Shalu. However, Ayush pulls Shalu aside, and instead, Anushka ends up stabbing Ayush.
Meanwhile, Harleen and Rano complain about Aanchal locking them in the room. Harleen suggests that Rano escape through the bathroom window and then come back to free her. She leads Rano to the bathroom to show her the way.
The Oberoi family panics over Ayush’s injury, but Ayush assures them that he is fine. Shalu, furious, tries to fight Anushka, but Lakshmi stops her. Ayush once again reassures everyone that he is fine. He then confronts Anushka, admitting that he was always thinking about Shalu, even when he was married to her. He reminds Anushka that they never had a true husband-and-wife relationship. Ayush also recalls telling Anushka before their marriage that he could never love her as a wife because his heart belongs to Shalu.
