Colors TV historical flick titled as Jhansi Ki Rani is the new addition in this list.
The show which got an extremely popular and talented cast for the pivotal roles on board gets rolling on screen from the month of February this year. It is being the fifth month of the show and the curtain is all set to drop on it. As per the news from the core circle of the channel the show is not able to perform as per desire. The show is about the life and pride of queen of Jhansi, Rani Laxmibai who was a fierce lady and perfect example of women empowerment. Besides being a freedom fighter she was a perfect wife, ruler, and mother as well. She is hailed as a model of courage and self-esteem across the country.
The show had young talent Anushka Sen playing title role along with veteran actors like Vikas Manakhtala, Anuja Sathe, Rajesh Singapore, Varun Badola to name a few. The show is never able to rank high in terms of numbers in spite of putting in a lot of efforts in making the execution perfect quoted by a source from. the production house. The trend of the show is gaining the average number is constant from the first week of the show. Seeing such a disappointing trend for the show they had so much expectation from the channel has decided to take it off the screen. A reliable source close to the channel revealed that if the numbers don’t get improved further then high chances are there for the show to bid adieu from the audience in the month of July. There are also some rumors regarding the last telecast date of the show is making some buzz. As far as the show is a concern the tentative last date of the show to telecast is fixed to be 24th July 2019.
Recently many long and short running shows of colors like Rashmi Sharma Productions “Roop – Maryada Ka Naya Swaroop” & “Vish Ya Amrit – Sitara”, Beyond Dreams “Ishq Mein Marjawaan”, Gurudev Valla production’s “Udaan”, Contiloe Entertainment’s “Kesari Nandan” and Swastik Production “Tantra” have been shelved due to their poor performance on charts. Seems like Colors is all set to go for a revamp with a range of new show waiting in cue to get rolled on the screen. Hence, Jhansi Ki Rani has been put under scanner and this piece of news is going to upset the fans of the show. However, Colors is all set to explore the variable genres of the show with their new launches. Vish is the one among those which recently went on air from 10th June 2019.
