#Exclusive: “I am happy that I did my best, and that’s what matters”- Vijayendra Kumeria on Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha going off-air!

STAR Plus show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha is finally bidding farewell after an eight-month stint, which is no mean task in today time when many shows are shutting shop in a matter of a couple of months.

This Full House media presentation ends on 9th October, with its current 5.30 pm slot taken over by Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali. Sandiip Sikcand, the latter show producer, confirmed the shift.

When contacted about Aapki ending, male lead Vijayendra Kumeria says

“It was a great experience for me as an actor… i got to do a challenging role… i could convince people with my acting and got accepted that it is like an award for me… it was a good concept, and I did it for selfish reasons like doing something unique and out of the comfort zone… i am happy that I did my best, and that’s what matters in the end.”

Producer Sonali Jaffar had this to say, ” It was a challenge to depict & do justice to a visually impaired hero and also introducing an acting talent like Richa Rathore was an absolute pleasure.”

Despite having a good story Aapki unfortunate never really rated, it was no surprise that STAR mandarins shifted the show from 6 pm to 5.30 pm.

The creative did pull all stops to salvage the show by even bringing in Aditi Rathore as the third angle to Vijayendra- Richa Rathore love story.

But we guess by then; it was too late.

Having said all that Aapki getting 0.8 at 6/5..30 is also an achievement, given early evening time band has not yet matured
