By Gossips TV : Zee TV’s much-awaited show Jagadhatri, starring Farman Haider and Sonakshi Batra, has been postponed from its original 6th October launch. According to sources, the makers are considering either a new time slot or creating a sufficient bank of episodes before unveiling the show. The revised premiere is expected in mid-October, roughly one to two weeks later than planned.
Jagadhatri is the official Hindi remake of the immensely popular Zee Bangla show of the same name. The recently released promo has already intrigued audiences with its unique storyline. Sonakshi Batra steps into the titular role of Jagadhatri, a young woman who outwardly appears vulnerable and oppressed under her domineering aunt’s roof. Constantly belittled at home, she hides her true self from the world. The twist comes with her secret life – Jagadhatri is actually a fearless undercover agent, drawing inspiration from Devi Maa as she takes on evil forces with unmatched courage.
Farman Haider plays her loyal confidant, who is aware of her hidden persona and supports her through dangerous missions. Their chemistry and shared journey add depth to the narrative, blending emotional drama with high-stakes action.
The original Bengali version was lauded for its strong female lead who balanced familial struggles with heroic deeds, and the Hindi adaptation is expected to carry forward the same intensity and empowerment, offering viewers a mix of suspense, action, and heartfelt drama.
