The episode starts with Vasu saying Uthaman that he can’t understand her pain if he doesn’t love anyone. She leaves while Uthaman stands helpless. Vasu comes to her cabin. Uthaman goes to Arjun and says that Vasu is firm in her decision. He also adds that she is leaving in 2 or 3 days shocking Arjun. Arjun thinks and gives car keys and a blank cheque on Vasu’s name to Uthaman and asks him to give it to Vasu. Uthaman did as he said but Vasu asks him to return the cheque to Arjun. Uthaman says Arjun will be hurt if she returns it but Vasu is firm in her decision. Uthaman goes back to Arjun and returns the cheque. Arjun asks Uthaman to help Vasu with her paperwork for Visa and help her arrange everything. Uthaman agrees to it.
Arjun comes home and calls out to Iniya. He asks her to get ready as they are going to Kodaikanal to attend her friend’s birthday as per her wish. Iniya gets extremely happy and leaves to get ready. She comes to Paati and shares the happy news with her. Paati is also very happy for her when Uthaman comes there. He asks them to be not too happy as Arjun is not going out with her out of love but because he can’t tolerate separating Vasu. He says about Vasu leaving for America in few days which is why Arjun is upset and is going away to avoid her send off.
Iniya fumes upon hearing it and is about to scold Arjun when Paati stops her and makes her understand that whatever happen in is good. She says if Vasu goes to America then there is enemy for her and she can happily live with her husband without any worries. Iniya understands that whatever Paati said is right and is extremely happy. Arjun and Iniya are all packed for their trip. Sumitra is upset over Vasu’s decision and feels sad that she didn’t discuss with her before taking resignation. She scolds Arjun for accepting her resignation but Arjun says he tried his best but she’s adamant to quit. She says Vasu belongs to this house and is like a daughter to her. Sumitra asks Arjun Where’s Vasu now. Arjun says she went to complete her paperwork and will be back now as he already sent vehicle to pick her up.
Vasu comes back and both Arjun and Vasu looks at each other emotionally. Arjun looks painful at her and Vasu notes the bags in their hand. He asks where they are leaving and Paati says they are going to enjoy in Kodaikanal. Vasu looks on with a broken heart while Arjun too keeps the luggage a heavy heart. Paati asks Iniya to speed up things before Arjun changes his mind. Iniya gets on the car after teasing Vasu and leaves with Arjun. Iniya is overly excited for the trip and tries romancing with Arjun but Arjun is lost in Vasu’s thoughts. Vasu is also crying on her bed.
