It is true that a coin is two-sided always. When a person becomes a celebrity and enjoys the attention and fame along with it. However, it also brings a lot of negativities and criticism along with it for your bigger to smaller actions. Actors being subjected to bullying, bashing by fans is no more an exclusive thing. Sometimes it is the actor who is at fault and sometimes fans blow up an issue out of proportion. The IMMJ actor recently witnessed a similar situation by himself after celebrating a fun moment and with his friends and co-workers. Yes, we are talking about Vishal Vashishth who is playing the role of Kabir and the thriller show “Ishq Mein Marjawaan 2”.
The entire fiasco took place when the team along with the lead actors Vishal Vashishth and Helly Shah were celebrating the location of fulfilling 100 episodes of the show. The ardent fans of the show have sent a cake as a token of appreciation for the entire team and their favourite couple “Riansh” in the show. However, due to some reasons Rrahul was not present during the celebration. Vishal was asked to cut the cake on behalf of the team and he did it but with a twist by cutting the name of the on screen couple from middle like a true villain character.
While his entire cast and crew members enjoyed this moment and laughing it off as a fun activity, fans got irked by this action of him. Not only this, in a bts video where people were talking about the cake, Vishal used a slang language with his friend as a part of his conversation which again made the people present at the set laughing hard.
The ardent fans of the show and specially the people who have arranged the surprise for the entire team and their favourite couple really didn’t see the whole thing as “FUN”. They felt bad and accuses Vishal for being arrogant, insecure and jealous about his co actors popularity.
The other lead of the show, Helly Shah did try to make it clear some days ago with a reply tweet of hers to a fan and elaborated the entire scenario and defends her co-actor. However, that entire act of heart has made the issue more sensitive to fans as they think Helly is giving justifications of someone else’s fault and the one who should come in front and speak is not taking any action. Today in the afternoon, Vishal took to his Instagram profile and post his stand in a story about the entire matter.
He wrote, ” Hey PEOPLE, and by ‘PEOPLE’ I mean the people who have taken offense over what I/we did with the #Riansh cake and some words I said. I will apologise if I know what I am apologising for. We (Actors) are allowed to have fun! Right? It was all in a fun and happy zone and was not intended to hurt anyone’s emotions. Well, if it did, it’s a tough world out there. You gotta step it up. There, I said it. Anyway, the cake was so good, thank you for the love. Grateful”.
Well the actor cleared it very much that he is not going to be sorry for something he didn’t do. Now it will be interesting to see that will fans accept this version of Vishal or will they stick to their own understanding from the entire matter.
