The episode starts with Vansh ordering Angre to throw D’Souza out of the house but Dadu stops him saying that this behaviour with D’Souza who has worked for years for them is wrong. Vansh says that she made mistake. Dadu says that she apologized for it but he himself says that she is family and family shouldn’t be treated like this. Vansh accepts to keep D’Souza in the house just for Dadi otherwise he doesn’t even want to see traitors alive in the world. He leaves. D’Souza thanks Dadi who asks her to take care of herself.
Suddenly fire alarm from kitchen is heard. Ridhima rushes in kitchen wondering if she kept gas on. Ishani smirks looking at lighter in her hands. She recalls turning on stove and putting the sweet Ridhima was making on it so it can burn.
Anupriya and Dadi come in the kitchen and Anupriya scolds Ridhima for being so careless. She says that burning sweet on first day after wedding is inauspicious. Dadi rolls her eyes. Ishani comes and taunts Ridhima saying that everything wrong is happening since she has come and today Vansh, who has never raised his voice on D’Souza, even wanted to throw her out. Ridhima says that nothing inauspicious will happen and she will make sweet quickly.
After a while, Dadi brings Ridhima to temple and asks her to give sweet to Krishna for “bhog” first. Vansh comes and looks at them. Ridhima comes with the sweet to him and says that she couldn’t make kheer but she made “meethi bhat” which is no less than a sweet dish for middle class people like her. Vansh tastes it and says that it isn’t bad. Dadi praises Ridhima for turning the inauspicious happening into auspicious. Ridhima smiles. Vansh says that he shall leave for an important meeting and walks away.
Ridhima goes into the kitchen to clean the mess. D’Souza comes and says that she will do it. Ridhima sees that her hands are wounded because Angre had tied round around her wrists before. Ridhima gets a first aid box and applies medicine on D’Souza’s wounds. She says that she is sorry for what happened to her. D’Souza says that Vansh played in her lap since childhood and today he gave her such a punishment for one mistake. Ridhima apologizes on his behalf and asks her what is in the backyard. D’Souza says that nobody is allowed to talk about it or go there. She leaves. Ridhima thinks that she might get a clue from the backyard. She recalls Vansh saying that he has to leave for meeting and decides to go to the backyard now that she has the occasion.

On the other hand, Vansh looks at a man’s picture on laptop and tells Angre that he doesn’t have any information about the deal with him since all details were in the pen drive that got broken. He says that he wants this deal to be successful at any cost so they can offer double the money. He says that nothing has been lost and they can still catch the traitor.
Meanwhile, Ridhima is about to go to backyard when Aryan comes and asks her what she is willing to do since she looks scared. Ridhima asks him to mind his business. Aryan says that he knows it is tough to stay with Vansh so if she needs anything, she can take him as her own and ask for help. Ridhima reminds him that she is his sister-in-law now and if she needs anything she will tell Vansh. Aryan walks away.
Ridhima goes towards the backyard. At the same time, Vansh tells Angre that Ridhima could be the betrayer too but he won’t punish her without any proof and if she is the one they are looking for then she will make a mistake and he will trap her. Ridhima walks to the backyard removing her sandals so that she doesn’t make any noise and she also walks on the footprints D’Souza left not to leave any sign. Vansh says that Ridhima thinks that she is smarter and can trick him but she is misunderstanding since not even her shadow can get him .
Ridhima reaches the backyard. She gets hurt on her foot but still walks ahead. There are lots of boxes in the backyard. She wonders what secret is hiding there. Vansh is sure that Ridhima won’t ever come to know how many secrets the walls of VR Mansion are hiding and if she tries, she will get caught. Ridhima thinks that she shall hurry up and find clue before Vansh’s meeting is over. Suddenly she feels someone tucking her dupatta from behind and thinks it’s Vansh. She apologizes saying that she lost her way but when she turns around Vansh isn’t there. Instead, she finds a statue of a girl and gets surprised seeing it. She wonders whose statue it is. She sees a ring with “VR” on it in the finger of the statue and understands that it means “Vansh Raisinghania” only. She decides to look around for another clue but just then someone holds her dupatta from behind. She turns around and this time it’s Vansh only.
Vansh angrily asks her what she is doing there and if D’Souza told her about the statue. Ridhima says no and frees her dupatta from his grip. Vansh warns Ridhima that she shouldn’t play with him. He asks her why she thinks he isn’t keeping an eye on her. Ridhima says that none told her anything and D’Souza won’t ever try to break his trust again after what happened in the morning. Vansh asks her why she didn’t learn from D’Souza’s mistake. Ridhima replies that it is nothing like that and she was just wandering around in the house. Vansh grabs a cutter from behind and throws it towards Ridhima but it hits a box. He says that his aim isn’t that bad but he can’t do anything with her without getting his answers. He asks why he came in the backyard after D’Souza’s mistake.
