The episode starts with Ridhima asking Vansh if she doesn’t have freedom to roam in liberty in the house, being Mrs Vansh Raisinghania. Vansh says that it is interesting how she suddenly got feelings of wifey. He asks her what got burnt in that fire of seven vows: someone’s attitude, someone’s ego. Ridhima says that she is his wife but not like he thinks and explains that she got curious seeing how he got angry on the woman who made him play in her lap just because she came in the backyard so she wanted to know what was there. Vansh says that she is right and there is difference between servant and wife. He forgives her for trying to know what was there as a wife but orders her to put it into her mind that any such mistake won’t be forgiven again. He leaves. Ridhima walks away too.
Ridhima goes in the washroom and splashes water on her face. She recalls Vansh’s outrage on the D’Souza, getting angry on her after finding her in backyard and also remembers the statue with “VR” ring. She wonders who that person of the statue could be.
Ridhima goes out of the washroom and just then D’Souza comes there with lunch for her. Ridhima questions her about the statue but, hearing about it, D’Souza starts shivering and warns her not to make the mistake of going in the backyard and mentioning the statue again. She leaves.
Ridhima goes behind D’Souza trying to stop her but slips and falls on ground. Ishani sees her and laughs. She mocks Ridhima walking around her and singing. She says that she can notice her impatience to know about what’s in the backyard and adds that she could have asked her and she would have told to Vansh who would have done with her the same he did with that person. Ridhima asks with whom. Ishani asks her if she ever asked Vansh why he married her. Ridhima is confused and asks what she means. Ishani asks her if she has noticed Vansh’s intensity. She says that there is lava inside him and dying by burning is surely easier than dying by melting. She stabs an apple with a knife that was placed on a stand near them and suggests Ridhima to ask Vansh about that statue if she wants to become like this apple. She leaves. Ridhima wonders what the secret of that statue is. She is confused.

On the other hand, Vansh is playing basketball. Angre asks him what if Ridhima tries to go to the backyard again. Ridhima hides behind tree and listens to them. Vansh replies to Angre that the first mistake can be forgiven but on the second one justice should be done. He says that Ridhima has to understand what not listening to him means and she should never get to know the secret of the statue. He throws the basketball against a pillar angrily saying that whoever will try to get to know that secret will have this condition. The ball bounces backwards and is about to hit Ridhima but she moves away. Vansh walks away followed by Angre. Ridhima wonders what the secret of that statue is and why everyone wants to hide it.
The next morning, Ridhima opens her eyes and gets shocked seeing Vansh lying next to her. He wishes her good morning. She sits up asking her what he is doing there. He grabs her night suit but she stands up. Vansh says that they are a happily married couple and, since she cannot be just a half wife and likes to roam around free of any remote control as his wife, she should let him sleep on her bed at least. Ridhima notices that his sofa was messy understanding that he slept there only. She says that she doesn’t like such pranks. Vansh says that every girl likes gifts though. He gets up and walks towards her grabbing her hand and making her wear a ring. Ridhima recognizes it to be the ring which was on the statue’s finger. Vansh says that the ring is very special for him and whoever wears it, must be a special one only. He says that she is very special to him too and hopes she respects the gift. He walks away.
Ridhima is left confused and wonders why Vansh called her special and even gave her the ring that he gives to his closest ones only. She says that it was also in the finger of that statue. She recalls Kabir making her wear on the same finger and says that she should have wore Kabir’s ring but now this ring will take Vansh to his end. She comes to the conclusion that the ring has something to do with Vansh’s past and she will find it out.
Later, Ridhima does physiotherapy session with Siya and teaches her some stretching. Ridhima thinks that Siya must know about the ring but wonders how to ask her. Siya notices the ring in her hand and asks her from where she got it. Ridhima tells her that Vansh gifted it to her this morning. Siya tries to say something and Ridhima understands that she wants to say that it is the same ring that the statue had. Siya asks her how she knows about the statue. Ridhima asks her to tell more about it. Siya denies knowing anything. Ridhima tries convincing her and requests her not to behave like an outsider. She says that she wants to know what is behind that statue, moreover she is family too.
Before Siya can reveal anything, Anupriya comes and scolds Siya. She also warns Ridhima to be like a daughter-in-law. She says that every house has a past and it shouldn’t be disclosed in front of anyone. Ridhima says that she is misunderstanding. Anupriya says that she has noticed that she is behaving like she is looking for something since the day she has come in the house and it seems like, not a daughter-in-law, but a spy has stepped in the house. She adds that they all aren’t stupid and warns Ridhima that she will find only ashes if she digs into a graveyard and not a treasure.
