The episode starts with Mohini stopping the engagement. He asks Veena that why is she keeping quite as she expected her to say something. Veena stands clueless when Mohini says that what about rituals of the engagement. Komolika has gifted a jewellery set for Shivani but what did they do for Ronit.
She asks dud she forgot that it’s auspicious to exchange gifts during engagement. She compares their classes and boasts about their status and the gifts they’ve given during Nivedhita and Anurag marriage. Veena says that she didn’t forget but none had a talk about it. Komolika says that it’s not necessary for young generation but elders will expect all this. Shivani asks Ronit why’s he keeping quite. Ronit acts that he can go to any length for her and can even break ties with his family and asks if she want that. Shivani says that she would never want that and asks him to not do so ever.
Bajaj announces that he will give the CEO position of the upcoming Bajaj city project to Ronit while everyone gets shocked. He leaves and Mohini recalls her conversation with Komolika.
Komolika asks her to create drama and if her plan goes right Bajaj instead of gifting materialistic stuffs and properties may give a prestigious project to Ronit which can be Bajaj City too. Mohini praises her. Komolika and Mohini smirks at their successful plan. Nivedhita notices that it’s their trap and wonders what happened to a Bajaj to make such a stupid decision.
Kukki is irked at the drama when Kaushik comes there. He says that these things happen in family. They both fight once again. Prerna scolds Bajaj what was he thinking before taking the decision. Bajaj tries talking but she doesn’t listen and says that how could he do this as Bajaj city is her dream and she worked day and night for it. Bajaj says that he heard Ronit’s talks with Shivani where he claimed to leave his family for her just to make her keep trusting him. He says that whatever he did, he did it for her family and Shivani. He says that until they bring out Ronit’s truth in front of Shivani they need to keep him under watch and this is the best way to do it. He also says that whatever happened outside is not Mohini’s plan but Komolika’s. He gets disappointed that she doesn’t trust his decisions and leaves. Prerna feels guilty and wonders how to apologise to Bajaj..
Moloy and Ragi scolds Mohini for her drama but Komolika comes to her support. She leaves taunting Ragi who’s completely unhappy over the drama. Kaushik says Moloy that it’s definitely Komolika who planned on this as nothing big can happen in their house without her permission. Komolika supports Mohini who’s upset that her family is against her. Bajaj gives the project file to Ronit and Komolika is relieved.
