The episode starts with Katha is in a restaurant. Ehsan arrives there. They both greets each other. Katha checks whether Viaan also there but Ehsan jokes Viaan isn’t even in his pocket. Katha jokes and teases about Viaan and Ehsan’s relationship but Ehsan asks her to not to say such things as he is a eligible bachelor of the town. Katha smiles and asks him to tell her the reason behind him wanting to meet her. Ehsan tells her that they get to know each other through office work so he wants to know what is the thing that upsetting her the most which leading her to quit the job. Katha says she is unhappy but refuses to tell anything further also requests Ehsan to not to ask her about this. Ehsan obliges but he once again tries to persuade information about what happened between her and Viaan in Dubai that lead her to quit job but Katha catches it and refuses to give any more information which upsets Ehsan.
Kailash and Yuvraj are discussing about business related things. Kavita and Reet also arrives there. Reet tells Kavita that she wants to ask her something. Kavita asks her to go ahead. Reet asks her about the Kangan which shocks Kavita Kailash and Yuvraj. She then laughs and says she is joking just to get their attention which brings a smile on everyone’s face. Kavita tells Reet that she can get all the attention from them and she don’t have to do all this. Reet tells Kavita Kailash and Yuvraj that Kavita’s birthday party arrangements are made. She also shows them the arrangement plans also explains how they are going to celebrate it. Reet further adds that she invited all the relatives and friends of them and asks Kailash if he wants to add anyone. Kailash shakes his head no and looks at Kavita who remains silent. Reet asks Kavita what she wants from Kailash for her as a birthday present. Both Yuvraj and Reet persuades Kailash and Kavita.
Kavita says to them Kailash already knows what she wants. She wants to be surrounded by her family members. She then requests Kailash to invite Katha and Aarav because Aarav is their late son Adi’s son and they have to get to know about him everything from on also asks to accept Katha as their daughter in law. She also says her happiness lies in this only. Reet and Yuvraj gets shocked hearing it. Kailash asks Reet to put Katha and Aarav’s name in the guests lists also suggests Kavita to invite them both directly which makes Kavita happy. Kavita thanks Kailash then leaves the place. Reet gets upset and expresses her displeasure about Kailash’s decision but Kailash informs Reet that Kavita’s happiness relies on it so let her do this. He also adds that Katha is a guest but Reet is this house daughter in law which won’t change at all then leaves. Yuvraj asks Reet to not to get upset but the latter lashes out at him then leaves the place.
Katha enters her house and sees Kavita is there. Aarav tells Kavita it’s her birthday so they are the one who supposed to give her presents. Nirija explains Aarav that grandparents give gifts to their loved one’s on their birthday. Katha greets Kavita and says now Aarav is going to be get spoiled by Kavita too and takes a seat beside Aarav. Aarav tells Katha about Kavita’s birthday party. Kavita tells Katha that this is just a reason for her to bring them both home to reconcile their relationship. She knows they failed to support both Katha and Aarav when they are at difficult times but she wants to change all this. She then receives a call from Kailash. She tells Katha that Kailash agrees to reconcile their relationship also he is the one who sent her here to invite them. She then says she has so much work left to do so leaving now but expects both Katha and Aarav’s presence then leaves. Katha puts a hand on her forehead which Nirija imitates then asks Katha what’s the problem. Katha tells her about Kailash who doesn’t like her. Nirija calls him an annoying old man then explains Katha to think from Kailash’s perspective as they are rich so it’s not easy for him to accept her as their daughter in law the moment Katha and Adi married. She also adds that Kailash lost his son so he must be in so much hurt. Katha recalls Kailash’s insults then says to Nirija that she won’t stop Aarav from attending the party but she won’t go there for sure.
Other side Viaan’s mother goes to Viaan who is deep in thought recalling his conversation with Katha. His mother tells him about Kavita’s birthday party invitation. Just then a worker arrives there and tells his signature need in that cheque. Viaan sees Katha’s name in it and recalls giving her money and gets upset but signs and sends the worker from there. Viaan refuses to go to the birthday party but his mother persuades him by complaining how their life is so boring which leads Viaan to agree to go to the part. His mother gets happy and leaves. The next day Nirija takes photos of Aarav who is ready to go to the birthday party of Kavita. Katha arrives there and advices him to not to trouble his father’s family out of excitement also tells him she will drop him in the venue but won’t come inside so he has to represent their family. Aarav refuses to go to the party without Katha by his side. He reminds Katha about the promise made to Kavita to attend the birthday party so asks her to get ready. Katha looks on helplessly.
Precap: During the party Kavita introduces Katha as their eldest daughter in law. Reet asks Katha to act as a guest also as a daughter in law she will manage the arrangements. Later Katha is seen speaking with someone. Aarav walks towards there.
