The episode starts with Randheer trying to convince Lala to bless Amrit with happiness for their marriage. Amrit is overhearing from outside, so is Mogar. He says that he loves her a lot. Lala gets angry and calls their generation shameless to be talking about love in front of elders. He is sure that Randheer would have fallen in love with Kiranbala after the marriage but their generation is crazy. He blames Ranjhan for turning Amrit like this too. Lala grabs the newspaper and remembers Randheer talking about Ranjhan’s story which is a new way of thinking. He asks Randheer to tear the page with Ranjhan’s story and clean his shoes with it.
Randheer is stunned. Lala tears the page with Ranjhan’s story on it and forwards it towards Randheer asking him to grab it and clean his shoes with it if he wants to see him happy. Randheer holds the page and folds it. He remembers reading Ranjhan’s name on Amrit’s diary and learning that she is Ranjhan. He shakes his head and apologizes saying that he can bear his insult for Lala’s happiness but cannot bear or do any writer’s insult.
Mogar smirks. Lala says that this is why he doesn’t like him: their thinking can never match. Randheer says that he wants to stay in his house for the next month and prove him that, despite their thinking is different, he knows how to respect sanskaar and elders. Lala accepts but asks what if he doesn’t convince him within a month since he has nothing to lose now that he has already done his roka with Amrit.
Randheer says that he doesn’t want only his consent but also blessings and his happiness for Amrit. Lala says that, if within a month he doesn’t convince him, then he will break all the ties with the Amrit for whom he is doing all this. He will get her married with Randheer anyway but her relation with her family will break forever. Randheer asks what kind of condition is this. Lala snaps that he believes his love so much so he should prove it and asks why he is scared if he trusts his love so much. He says that those who fear losing cannot promise about winning.
Randheer smiles and touches his feet asking for the blessing to make him win the happiness of his would be wife and make a daughter get her parents’ blessing. Lala looks away. Randheer takes blessings from Rajrani too and then leaves. Amrit and Mogar hide before he can see them. Mogar thinks that Randheer will have to lose the bet.
After a while, Randheer is seen placing his stuff in his room. He is still holding the page with Ranjhan’s story on it. He starts putting his clothes in the closet when he hears the sound of Amrit’s anklets. He understands she is there and asks whether he spoke a lot. Amrit replies no and says that she didn’t know the characters she write are in reality too: he was talking like one in front of her father. Amrit says that she will never forget what he is doing to make her unite with her father. Randheer says that her father is his father too and he has to convince him in order to show tantrums after marriage. Amrit laughs.
On the other hand, Radha gives a new kurta to Brij saying she has brought it for him but it is small. Brij says that it is Uday’s size and taunts her asking her to go to give it to the person for whom she bought it. Radha says that she brought it for him only. Uday comes and asks for some money to Brij but he denies. Uday leaves sadly. Brij wears kurta himself and leaves. Uday comes back to the room and asks Radha to give him ration card. Radha gives it. Brij looks at them and is frustrated. He leaves. Radha asks Uday what he will do with it. Uday assures her that he won’t hide anything from a mother like her.
In the meantime, Vashma’s mehendi function is going on. Amrit comes and looks sad. Vashma asks her to cheer up and shows that she has transformed the F of Farooq that the mehendi wali had written on her hand into the hindi U. She reveals Amrit that she is going to disappear with Uday and, after marrying him, she will at least have time to convince her parents whereas, if she marries Farooq, she won’t even get to see Uday.
Brij is dancing and singing loudly on the road with gypsies. Lala comes and tries stopping him but Brij says that he has always considered himself as lion when everyone knows he is a monkey. Brij is drunk and unconsciously hits Lala’s turban which is about to fall into a nearby fire but Randheer grabs it on time. Lala calls Uday who rushes there. Radha comes too and asks what happened. Brij shouts on Uday asking him to stay away and pushes away Radha too. Uday holds her and questions Brij’s behaviour but Brij keeps shouting and says that he doesn’t want anyone in his life. He leaves. Mogar witnesses everything. Uday wonders what happened to Brij and asks Radha to go inside.
Randheer has hurt his hand while trying to save Lala’s turban from fire. Amrit comes to his room and gets concerned seeing that his hand got burnt. Randheer says that his father’s respect is his respect as well. Amrit asks him to sit and then grabs some cotton on which she puts some medicine but she stops before touching his hand. Randheer applies medicine on his burnt hand himself and says after one month, he will be hers and so will be his wounds and then nothing can stop her from healing his wounds. Amrit asks what if Lala doesn’t get convinced within a month but Randheer is sure to conquer his heart. Amrit blows on his wounded hand. Randheer looks at her amazed. Amrit smiles shyly and leaves. Randheer smiles too.
Lala is trying his turban. Randheer comes to help him. Rajrani looks at them. Mogar witnesses that and says that she’d rather die than letting Randheer conquer Lala’s heart.
Zara tells Randheer that Vashma wants to meet Randheer in the road behind. Mogar overhears that. Vashma and Randheer meet and she scolds him for making the matter so big since Lala would have gotten convinced after the marriage for sure. Randheer says that he didn’t want Lala to get convinced after the marriage otherwise he will be losing.
Farooq and Abrar reaches Lahore. Mogar meets Farooq and says that she is sure that after Nikah she will stop talking with stranger men. Farooq gets angry. Randheer recites a poem in front of Vashma who is impressed. Farooq comes and hits Randheer saying that he can write his poetries on his newspaper but shouldn’t show off them in front of Vashma. He talks disrespectfully about Randheer and Vashma. Uday interferes and rises his voice but Abrar comes in between.
A fight starts. Randheer is about to hit Farooq after pushing him to the ground when Lala comes and stops him asking why he was beating Iqbal’s son-in-law. Iqbal comes there too. Uday and Randheer try defending themselves in vain. Lala asks Amrit to take Vashma inside. Vashma and Amrit leave. Iqbal asks Farooq to explain what happened. Farooq says that Randheer was reciting poetries in front of Vashma and was close to her. Randheer denies that but Lala stops him and asks Farooq to continue. Farooq lies that they were just talking and Randheer and Uday started beating him. Uday asks Lala not to believe Farooq. Iqbal asks Abrar to say who is telling the truth. Abrar says that Randheer and Uday are lying.
On the other hand, Vashma is packing her stuff and tells Amrit that she will come to get ready in her house and then she will elope from there. Amrit wishes everything had happened with Vashma’s parents’ consent. Vashma recommends that none should see the stuff that Amrit will take to her house.

Precap: Amrit and Radha go to a brothel to get Brij back. One of the women in the brothel is about to remove the cloth with which Amrit is hiding her face but someone stops him.
