Mahabharat 10th April 2020 Written Update:
The episode starts with Shaguni smirking seeing the servant down. He thinks that he knows to even defeat fate with his knowledge. He climbs up while his another men asks why they are here. Shaguni asks him to watch. He disturbs the plants and lots of fire flies appear. Shaguni says that these fire flies will help in warding away the fear of darkness for his sister. He asks his men to catch them. His eagle Sukra comes there and Shaguni gets the news. He reads it and gets furious. He shouts Dridrurashtra’s name.
Bhishm comes back while everyone discuss about the reason for him to leave to Gandhara. Satyavati welcomes Bhishm and asks did King Subhala come with him. She’s curious about the proposal. Bhishm says that Subhala agreed to the proposal and they would come on the day Akshaya Trithiya for the wedding.
Satyavati is disappointed but decides to perform the crowning ceremony right after Dridrurashtra’s marriage. Bhishm asks Ambika to send gifts has groom’s mother to Gandhari. Ambika happily agrees. Satyavati orders Pandu to take care of all the arrangements as this is the first wedding happening after years. Everyone gets excited.
Dridrurashtra is seen feeling the throne when Pandu comes there. He asks what’s he doing. Dridrurashtra accurately says the number of steps to the thrones as his whole life he was dreaming of it. He says that there’s only one step he needs to take to reach the throne and that’s his marriage. He says that he wants to see the world with his wife’s eyes.
On the other hand Gandhari gets elated seeing the gifts send by Ambika. She says that she makes sure to be a better half for her husband in all ways and wants to be the Queen of his heart. In contrast to it Dridrurashtra says that he don’t want anything apart from his wife’s vision as he himself is capable of everything. Both their contrasting thoughts are shown in parallels.
Lord Krishna’s saying : He says that one should stop being greedy over things and should stop imagining for perfect things in their life. If they do so their life will become beautiful.
Gandhari gets the fire flies lamp from Sukra which is sent by Shaguni. She feels blessed to have him as her brother. She says he might be here. Shaguni angrily comes to Subhala and questions him about marriage. His mother and father tries explaining him but he’s in no mood to listen. He says that he will not let his sister’s marriage happen with a blinded person like Dridrurashtra. Gandhari drops the fire flies lamp in shock hearing it.
