She explains that dowry is an illegal practice and tells him not to follow it, as it is an insult to his daughter’s self-respect. Vikram overhears their conversation.
Vikram approaches Gopal and confronts him for demanding dowry without informing him. He tells the bride’s father that he does not want any dowry. Hearing this, Mangal praises the younger generation. Gopal apologizes to Mangal and admits that he has realized his mistake. Gopal, Vikram, and the bride’s father then leave.

Mangal checks the notes and realizes they are fake. She calls Jayaraj and informs him about a briefcase full of counterfeit money. Jayaraj again warns her to be cautious, and she agrees.
Mangal then runs into Adit’s gang and asks who they are. They claim to be musicians. She questions why they are hiding their faces and how they will play the flute. The gang reassures her that everything will be fine and tells her not to worry before leaving.
Shubhi comes to Mangal and tells her that the musicians canceled at the last moment and have returned the money. Mangal realizes that the people she met earlier were actually the fake currency gang.
Adit and his gang swap the real currency with fake notes. They then receive information that the police are on their way to the wedding, so they flee.
Mangal devises a plan to stop the gang and creates smoke at the wedding, but she is shocked to see Adit among the criminals. Despite her efforts, the gang manages to escape.
Jayaraj arrives and asks Mangal if she noticed anything suspicious. Mangal says she needs to go home and leaves.
Adit gets into a car and thanks Aarav for informing them about the police. Aarav says Adit should thank him instead, as he was the one who brought him into the gang. Adit tells Aarav to make sure that Mangal and Ishana do not find out about their counterfeit operation. Aarav agrees.
The next day, while serving breakfast, Mangal tells Kusum that a major incident occurred at the wedding. She explains how the bride’s father brought money, only to later discover that it was fake. Mangal adds that a large gang is behind the counterfeit currency. While she is speaking, she notices Adit coughing.
Mangal offers water to Adit but deliberately spills it on him. She apologizes and pretends to clean his watch, secretly planting a microchip to track his movements.
Mangal then receives a call from Jayaraj and steps aside to answer it. He asks her to meet him, but she says she cannot come immediately. He suggests meeting in the evening, and she agrees.
