The episode starts with Jairaj asking Mangal what she is hiding from him. Mangal says it is nothing. Jairaj tells Mangal that he knows how to read people.
Jairaj encourages Mangal to tell him the truth. Mangal collapses on the ground and reveals that the mastermind he is looking for is Adit Saxena. Mangal says she has spent 15 years with Adit and never expected him to be behind the fake currency racket. She comments on Adit and asks Jairaj why he isn’t saying anything.
Jairaj tells Mangal that he has been working in this field for 15 years and that no one expects a criminal to be part of their family. He says that Adit needs to be punished. Mangal says she cannot do it, as Adit is the father of her children and Kusum’s son.
Jairaj reminds Mangal of how Arjun felt helpless before the Mahabharata war. He says that Lord Krishna told Arjun that a warrior should not back down from a dharma yudh.
Mangal says she doesn’t know what to do. Jairaj asks her to become the old Mangal and win Adit’s trust.
Jairaj then asks Mangal how she found out that Adit is the mastermind behind the counterfeit currency racket. Mangal says she overheard Adit talking to someone on the phone.
Mangal explains how she planted a microchip in Adit’s watch. It is shown that Mangal enters a room and uses the microchip to overhear Adit telling his goons to distribute fake currency as soon as possible. Adit also says that Sharma is a big marketing head, and if they want him to choose Adit’s gang again, they must complete the deal.
After hearing this, Jairaj tells Mangal that she has made a mistake. He explains that if Adit finds out about the tracker in his watch, he will become alert and his entire gang will go underground. Jairaj tells Mangal that she must retrieve the microchip.
Mangal notices Adit returning home. Adit asks why she is looking at him. Mangal replies that she came to take his clothes for washing.
Mangal collects Adit’s clothes and secretly removes the microchip from his watch. She accidentally drops the watch, and Adit lashes out at her. He asks what she has in her hand. Mangal drops the clothes and hides the microchip. When Adit questions her, she shows her hands and says there is nothing in them except his clothes.
Adit then asks why she is being so cooperative today, as she had earlier asked him to wash his own clothes. Mangal replies that he was rude to her before, so she taught him a lesson. She adds that since she is already washing her clothes, she is including his as well because there is space in the washing machine. Mangal then leaves.
Mangal gives the microchip to Jairaj and tells him she cannot continue this anymore. She says she cannot become the old Mangal, as it goes against her self-respect. Jairaj asks her to put her country before herself and complete the mission. He also tells her to show Adit what she is capable of.
Adit meets Sowmya and greets her. Sowmya notices that Adit is wearing women’s perfume and asks if he is getting close to Mangal. Adit denies it and comments on Mangal.
Sowmya praises Adit for stealing Pehla Swaad and running a fake currency business through it. She tells him to make sure Mangal does not find out. Adit says Mangal is naive and will never discover the truth.
