The episode starts with Adit telling Kusum that if they are unhappy with his return, then he will leave. Ishana tries to stop him, but he leaves. Ishana asks her grandmother why she cannot give a second chance to her dad, who is repenting for his mistakes.
Mangal tells Kusum that the kids need Adit and that she also needs her son. She says Kusum cannot bear his departure, so she should stop him. Adit comes out with his luggage and is about to leave the house. Kusum stops him and asks if he is leaving them again. She asks when he will stop running away from tough situations.
She says Mangal never leaves like this and always fights for her family. She adds that Adit never tries to fight and cannot even handle his mother’s anger. She says if he still wants to leave, he can go, but she has the right to show her anger because her heart was broken by his actions. Adit hugs her and asks for forgiveness. Everyone feels happy. Neel says they should celebrate Holi with colors, not with tears. Everyone agrees. Adit reconciles with his parents. Ishana receives a message from Aarav and goes to her room.
Shubhi tells Mangal that Ishana and Aarav are in love. Mangal gets shocked. Aarav applies color on his cheek, then rubs his cheek against Ishana’s and wishes her Happy Holi. Ishana goes to change. Mangal witnesses everything and slaps Aarav.
Mangal asks Aarav how he dared to trespass into her house and how he dared to touch her daughter. She asks Aarav to leave the house and throws him out. She warns him to stay away from her daughter, otherwise she will not spare him. She closes the door on his face.
Shubhi tells Mangal that she did the right thing. Mangal says she has no problem with Ishana being in love, but she feels Aarav is not the right person and she sensed a wrong vibe from him. Ishana calls Aarav and asks what happened. Aarav tells her how Mangal insulted and threw him out. Ishana asks him to stay there and says she is coming. Aarav breaks a bottle on his head and blood starts oozing. Ishana comes there. Aarav says her mom beat and insulted him. He says he can bear it, but he cannot live without her because he loves her.
Meanwhile, Adit and the family celebrate Holi. Mangal feels happy and tells Shubhi that everyone is happy and she wants her family to always celebrate like this. Ishana comes back. She says, “Mangal Saxena, if you have the courage then beat me. Why did you beat Aarav?”
Mangal says she does not like Aarav getting close to her. Ishana says she allowed him to come close because she loves him. Mangal asks her to listen and says she feels Aarav’s intentions are not good. Gayatri says she had already warned Mangal not to allow Aarav into the house, but Mangal did not listen.
Mangal asks Ishana to first become independent by completing her studies. She says she does not want Ishana to face problems like she did in her life. Ishana says she knows what she is doing and asks Mangal to stay away from her life. Mangal tries to stop her, but Ishana leaves in her car.
Adit asks Mangal not to stop Ishana and says she should let her live her life and make her own decisions. Mangal says she still feels Aarav is not right for her. Adit asks Mangal to stop judging people’s lives with her decisions. He says he supports Ishana and suggests they talk to Aarav.
Meanwhile, a lady cleans Aarav’s wound. Aarav says he will teach Mangal a lesson for slapping him. Adit tells Mangal that love is the most important thing in a relationship. Mangal says she does not know about love because she never received it in her life.
The next day, Mangal prepares breakfast for Ishana. Adit goes to Ishana’s room with her favorite breakfast to wake her up but finds Shubhi there instead of Ishana. Adit asks Shubhi why she is there and where Ishana is. Adit calls Mangal. Mangal and the family members come there.
Mangal asks Shubhi what happened. Shubhi says Ishana asked her to sleep there while she went to meet Aarav. She also says Ishana told her that Aarav is going to the USA, so she wants to meet him and end their relationship on a good note. She asked Shubhi to let the family know and allow her to meet him.
The episode ends.
Precap: Lakshmi comes to the temple and notices Ishana and Aarav getting married. Lakshmi pours water into the Havan and stops the wedding ritual.
Mangal comes to the temple and asks Lakshmi where Ishana is. Lakshmi asks Mangal not to worry and says the marriage has not happened because she poured water into the Havan.
However, Aarav quickly puts the Mangalsutra around Ishana’s neck and applies Sindoor in her hairline, completing the wedding ritual just before Mangal reaches them.
