The episode starts with Lakshmi overhearing Jia giving money to a goon disguised as a doctor and asking him to kill Karan. The goon leaves.
Lakshmi enters the room. She grabs Jia by the neck and demands that she call back her henchman immediately; otherwise, Lakshmi will kill both of them. Krish comments and tells Lakshmi to let Karan die and live her own life. Lakshmi vows to take revenge and says she will not let anything happen to Karan. Jia pours water over Lakshmi’s head and wipes off her Sindhur, telling her that she has made her a widow in advance. Jia and Krish taunt Lakshmi, saying it is her destiny to be a widow in this life. They then leave.
Lakshmi injures her thumb and applies her blood to her hairline as Sindhur, vowing once again not to let anything happen to Karan.
Lakshmi tries to enter the operation theatre, but Dadi and Bhavani stop her. She explains that Karan’s life is in danger, but they refuse to believe her, thinking she wants to stop the operation to kill Karan. Jia and Krish also prevent her from entering.
Jia’s henchman attempts to inject poison into Karan, but the lights in the operation theatre go out. In the ensuing chaos, the henchman drops the injection, which breaks.
It is revealed that Lakshmi turned off the main switch to cut the lights in Karan’s operation theatre. She silently tells Karan that she will not allow anything to happen to him.
Lakshmi arrives at the Kapoor family home with the police. She tells the cops that the family is keeping her away from her husband, which is her right. She also informs them that she suspects the doctors are a threat to Karan and demands that his operation be performed by the team she brought. The police inspector warns the Kapoor family to allow Lakshmi to be with Karan, or strict action will be taken. Karan’s operation is successfully performed by Lakshmi’s team.
Three days later, Lakshmi thanks God as Karan regains consciousness. She later learns from a nurse that Karan has discharged himself from the hospital. At home, Karan unpacks his clothes, looks at his bracelet, and thinks about Lakshmi. He realizes he cannot forget her, even if he tries.
Lakshmi visits Karan’s new house. Bhavani confronts her and asks why she has come. Dadi comments that they had changed the house to prevent her from meeting him, yet she still arrived. Bhavani explains to Dadi that Karan decided to change his room because the movers accidentally brought Lakshmi’s luggage into his room, suggesting that Karan cannot be with Lakshmi. Karan leaves, and Lakshmi follows him.
Lakshmi hugs Karan and tells him she will not leave until he listens to her. Jia and Krish witness this.
The episode ends.
Precap: Karan asks Lakshmi about the proof she mentioned. She gives him a file containing everything—Jia’s sonography and other evidence proving that Jia is the one who gave birth to the baby. Lakshmi thinks that now the truth will finally come out.
Our take:- Lakshmi proves her courage and cunning as she fights to save Karan from a deadly plot. Despite family opposition and Jia’s schemes, she refuses to let destiny decide their fate. With the truth about Jia’s baby on the horizon, the stage is set for a dramatic showdown.
