The episode starts with Gayatri telling Mangal that her business is causing trouble for the kids. She says, “I am right, isn’t it, Didi?” Kusum looks on. Shubhi receives a message and is shocked after reading it. Yashvardhan refuses to eat the sweet given by Jairaj and thinks, “I hope my son didn’t cause any trouble for Mangal.” Mangal worries about Ishana. She then receives a phone call that shocks her, and she rushes out of the house in tension. Aarav follows her.
Mangal and Aarav reach the police station. The inspector tells Mangal that her daughter has met with an accident and asks her to come with him. Mangal enters the police station and sees Shubhi in the lockup. She asks Shubhi why she is in the lockup and says that she had gone to help Ishana, right? Ishana says that Shubhi replaced her on stage and now in the police station too. It is shown that Ishana caused the accident and a man got injured. Ishana messages Shubhi and asks her to come to the location she sent. Shubhi tells Mangal that Ishana is at her friend’s place and that she is going there. Shubhi meets Ishana, who insists that Shubhi take the blame for the accident. Shubhi agrees.
The inspector says Shubhi has been arrested for rash driving. Mangal feels bad for her. Kusum calls Aarav and asks what happened. Aarav says they are all at the police station because of an accident. Kusum gets tense and asks him to give the phone to Mangal. Mangal explains everything to Kusum. Kusum tells her to come home with Ishana, and then they can decide how to get Shubhi released. She also tells Mangal not to further spoil her relationship with Ishana. Mangal asks Ishana how Shubhi got arrested when she doesn’t even know how to drive. Ishana says that the truth is Shubhi caused the accident and that Mangal just cannot accept it. She leaves. Aarav asks Shubhi to tell the truth to Mangal. Mangal also asks Shubhi to speak the truth.
Jairaj comes to the station and tells Mangal that she framed Shubhi to save Ishana. He tells the same to the inspector and says that Shubhi is just a worker at Mangal’s place. Mangal says that Shubhi is her daughter too. Jairaj makes insulting comments about Mangal. Shubhi admits that she caused the accident and that Mangal has no fault in it. Jairaj says that Mangal gives lectures about goodness but does not follow them herself. Mangal asks him how he came there. Jairaj shows a video proving that Ishana caused the accident, not Shubhi. Mangal and the inspector watch the recording. Jairaj tells the inspector that he came to save the innocent person who was jailed — Shubhi. He insults Mangal, saying that she is using Shubhi to save her own daughter.
Jairaj requests the inspector to release Shubhi, as she is innocent. The inspector asks the constable to free Shubhi from the lockup. Shubhi is released and hugs Mangal. Jairaj tells Mangal that she is unable to take care of her children because she is busy handling her business. He says she should stay at home and leave the business, as business is men’s work, and asks her to listen to him. Mangal tells the inspector that she is leaving with her daughter Shubhi. She leaves the station with Shubhi and Aarav.
