The episode begins with Moushmi warning Neerja to make sure that the feast is made well so that the brahmins don’t complain. Neerja assures Moushmi, saying that her mom taught her to cook. Just then, Abhir arrives and decides to assist Neerja. Moushmi worries whether Neerja can finish preparing the feast on time. Abhir assures Moushmi yes. Abhie assists Neerja with cooking. They hear the doorbell and hurriedly do everything.
Moushmi and Bijoy welcome the brahmins. Moushmi goes to the kitchen to check if the food is ready. Abhir asks Neerja to close the kheer. Neerja refuses and asks to let it cool down. Abhir and Neerja go to freshen up while asking Moushmi to taste the food. Moushmi tastes it. Trisha arrives. Moushmi says that she never had such tasty food. She says that Neerja prepared the food with Abhir’s help. Moushmi leaves. Trisha refuses to let Neerja win. She thinks of doing something to spoil the food prepared by Neerja. Trisha is on the way. Munmun spots and questions her. Munmun gets suspicious of Trisha’s behavior.
Neerja serves the water to everyone. Kaushik smiles, looking at Neerja. Munmun brings him back to reality. Munmun notices Trisha coming out of the kitchen and wonders what she was doing in the kitchen. Neerja serves the food. Kaushik touches Neerja’s hand when she serves him, which makes Neerja feel uncomfortable. She immediately took her hand back. The brahmins get angry when they see a lizard in the kheer. An FB shows Trisha putting it on the kheer. The brahmins accuse the Bagchi of serving them impure food. They curse the family and angrily walk away, ignoring the family’s plead.
Neerja cried. Abhir says that Neerja should have listened to him and should have covered the keeper. Moushmi and Abhir blame Neerja. Bijoy angrily walks away. Munmun says that thankfully Bappa wasn’t at home, else he would have eaten the kerk on which the lizard had fallen. Neerja cried. Abhir suggests Neerja preparing a surprise birthday party for Bijoy to cool down his anger. Neerja agrees.
Later, Neerja, Abhir and Satark are preparing for the birthday surprise by locking the door from outside. Suddenly, Bijoy tries to open the door and asks who locked it. Satark manages the situation by telling a lie to Bijoy and asking him to stay inside. Abhir and Neerja share a moment while putting on the lights. At Sonagachi, Didun asks the ladies to get ready to go somewhere to settle the score with someone.
Abhir and Neerja finish preparing the surprise party. He asks Satark to let the family come here when he gives a sign. Abhir goes to make a call while Neerja goes to get ready. Neerja climbs the steps. Kaushi is going downstairs. He pretends to fall. Neerja holds his hand to help. Kaushik says that he slipped. Neerja goes up to get ready while Kaushik looks at his hand, thinking about Neerja.
Neerja gets ready for the party. Abhir suddenly huggs Neerja from behind. Neerja gets scared before realizing that it’s Abhir. She asks Abhir how she looks. He praises her look and says that he loves her. Abhir helps Neerja to ge ready and makes her wear heels. He does her hair. Tum na ho song plays in the BG. He says that Neerja Abhir Bagchi is the most beautiful girl in the world and kisses her temple. He puts a nazartika and hugs her.
