Rajan Shahi is one of the few producers in the industry who is known to form a close bond with his cast and crew. He not only keeps regular contact with them, but also makes them feel at home, and appreciates them with his encouraging words to keep them motivated. So recently when Shaheer Sheikh, who was seen in the ace producer’s show “Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke” (YRHPK), shared a pic before an audition on his Instagram account, Rajan was quick to react to it and called him a fine actor and a fine human being. Rajan, who had produced the show under his banner Director’s Kut Productions (DKP), also said that his team at the production house call the actor “king”. When the actor posted a pic with the caption, “Audition, the first time in a long time”,
Rajan replied to it and wrote, “Best wishes and good luck Shaheer u r one of the finest actors and more importantly one of the finest humans whom I have worked with and all in DKP call u ‘king’ with a heart of gold waiting waiting waiting one day to work with u again after Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke as a lot to say still as they the best is yet to come and ‘picture abhi baaki hai dost’ thu thu thu.” Shaheer thanked him for his kind words and replied, “I feel humbled & honoured reading this. Sir…it’s your love and humility that set you apart from everyone else. Working with you never felt like ‘work’ and the respect I have for you only grows. Good luck and God bless until our paths cross again.” As Rajan said “Picture abhi baaki hai dost”, we can’t wait to see them team up again and give another hit show for the audience to get hooked onto. “Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke” was a spin-off to Rajan’s longest-running TV show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”. It went off-air in October 2020.
