Chitralekha asks Bhagyasree where she is going. Bhagyasree says she is going to the court. Chitralekha reminds Bhagyasree that Kanika’s engagement has been fixed. She tells Bhagyasree that she should be preparing for Kanika’s engagement, but instead she is going to the court for Deepa. Kanika argues with Bhagyasree about her actions and asks whether Bhagyasree considers her daughter or Deepa her daughter. Bhagyasree replies that Deepa’s life is on the line today and asks Kanika to show some compassion. Kanika comments on this, and Bhagyasree responds before leaving.
In the court, the judge asks Jaikanth and Sonali to begin the proceedings. Jaikanth tells the judge that in the previous court sessions, Deepa was proven to be a characterless woman. He argues that Jyoti’s custody cannot be given to Deepa and elaborates on his point.
Sonali objects to Jaikanth’s claim, telling the judge that Jaikanth cannot call Deepa characterless without proper evidence. Deepa tells Vijayanti that she never saw her as a mother, but today Vijayanti stood for her like one. Bhagyasree reminds Vijayanti that she had promised to help Deepa get justice and that she has kept her word. Vijayanti acknowledges this.
Karthik asks Sonali what she is thinking since the court judgment will be in their favor. Sonali replies that, to find a permanent solution regarding Bhanu, they need Jyoti’s statement; otherwise, Bhanu will continue to harass Deepa.
Karthik brings Jyoti to the court. Deepa asks him why he brought Jyoti, worried she might discover the truth. Karthik explains that he thought about it carefully and asks Deepa to trust him. He reassures Jyoti not to be scared and to answer Sonali’s and Jaikanth’s questions. Jyoti agrees.
Sonali requests the judge to allow Jyoti to take the witness stand. Jaikanth objects, saying Sonali did not inform them beforehand. Sonali apologizes, explaining that it was a sudden decision. The judge allows Jyoti to testify. Sonali asks Jyoti if she knows Bhanu, pointing to him.
