I won’t call the police, but Usma, pack your bags and leave Niyazi Palace.” Usma leaves in tears.
Pervez stops Kausar and says, “I also want to meet Seher, so I’ll accompany you.” Kausar agrees. Safia dislikes this and decides to oust Kausar from the house soon.
Seher cries, thinking, I thought I could tell Mahid about my dream of becoming a doctor and that he would support me. Mahid admits he forgot and says, “I will go meet Afzal now and solve the issue.” Niyaz reveals, “Afzal called me and said he left for Aligarh.” Mahid asks, “Why did he call you when it was my work?” Niyaz thinks about undermining Mahid’s position. Mahid insists, “I want to perform my duties without fail.” Niyaz responds, “I’ll assign you another task,” and takes him along.
Mufti also tastes the sweets given by Kausar. Seher wonders why her mother looks worried seeing the sweet box. Kausar says, “It’s Seher’s right to have all the sweets,” and hands the box to her. Mufti agrees, “Yes, go to your room and spend some time.” Pervez tries to stop it, but Seher takes Kausar with her. Mahid, leaving with Niyaz, sees Seher heading to her room.
Fareed and Sultana come home and see Amal there. They inform the inspector that Amal has returned. Sultana asks, “Where did you go?” Amal replies, “I was with Kausar aunty and have now come home.” Sultana asks where they met, and Amal answers, “I met her when I went out. Why are you nervous?” Amal then leaves for her room. Sultana tells her husband, “We want to keep Amal away from Kausar, but they are getting closer. If Kausar learns that Amal is her biological daughter, she might take her away.” Fareed says, “I won’t let that happen. You were wrong to bring Kausar into our lives.”
Seher hugs Kausar and says, “You were right, Mom. I can’t fulfill my dreams if I stay in this house. Mahid will never understand my dream.” Kausar replies, “God gave you the right to education. Don’t stop at the first hurdle.” She shows Seher the tenth-grade exam form and encourages her to prepare for her exams.
Niyaz asks Mahid to check the mosque’s expense files, hinting at a hidden agenda. Kausar tells Seher to focus on her studies. Seher takes out the 10th-grade exam form she already had and says, “I’m your daughter, and your purpose is my purpose too. Trust my intentions—I brought the 10th-grade form as well, and I will fulfill our dream by becoming a doctor.”
