By Anil Merani: Shivangi Joshi and Randeep Rai fans must be shocked with their short-lived Balika Vadhu 2 stint. We can now confirm that Ravi Dubey produced Swaran Ghar will take over the 8.30 pm slot on Colors.
Shivangi and Randeep had entered the above well-known child marriage show’s sequel in the fag end of 2021 as part of the leap.
Colors unhappy with Balika Vadhu 2 prospects will hope that Ravi will recreate the Udariyan magic. Swarn’s story might be similar to the Yash Chopra film Baghban starring Amitabh Bacchan and Hema Malini. Ronit Roy and Sangita Ghosh topline its cast.

Shivangi and Randeep fans might feel short-changed, wondering why Colors is not giving Balika Vadhu leap some time to prove its worth. (two months is relatively more minor time )
Earlier buzz suggested that Swarn might replace Amar Upadhyay lead Molkki; however, now, as per the latest chatter. The latter Balaji telefilms presentation might soon move to the Rishtey channel, sans female lead Priyal Mahajan, who might quit the show.
Some Shivangi stans might question her wisdom in not waiting for a while post her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai exit; once the Naira stamp dies, she can try out different characters(Not just good bahu) across TV, web and cinema.
Randeep fans must have also expected something more significant than Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, but alas.
However, a channel source stresses that no final decision has yet been taken
