The episode starts with Raj mocking Kavya in the kitchen. Indira comes there and teases them. Indira asks Raj to leave his wife to her sometimes so she can ready Kavya for puja. Raj tells Indira that she can take Kavya as much time as she wants. Indira takes Kavya with her.
Later Pandit asks the person who is doing the Vratham to sit in the puja. Indira readies Kavya and brings Kavya there. Swapna feels jealous seeing Kavya’s luck. Indira asks her husband how Kavya is looking. Sitha Ramayya says Kavya looks like their house Maha Lakshmi. Dhana Lakshmi also praises Kavya’s look. Kanakam and Appu come there. Kavya feels happy to see them. Kanakam says to Kavya that she is looking like a goddess Lakshmi. Kavya says Indira made her ready in this way. Kanakam gives her a gold coin and saree. Rudrani mocks Kanakam’s gifts. Appu rebukes her. Indira asks Kanakam to not take Rudrani’s words seriously. She asks Kavya to accept gifts from her mother. Kavya takes them happily and sits in the puja.
Pandit starts puja. He coughs while reciting a mantra. He stops the mantra. Kavya finishes the stotra. Pandit praises Kavya. Pandit asks ladies to give Aarti to Vara Lakshmi Devi. Indira asks Kavya to sing the Mangala Harathi song. Kavya sings the Aarti song and offers Aarti to goddess Lakshmi. Then Kavya gives Vayanam to the ladies.
Indira makes Kavya give an expensive saree to Kanakam as Vayanam. Kanakam and Appu leave from there. Pandit says Varalakshmi vratam will be completed once ladies get their husband’s blessings. Everyone takes their husband’s blessings. Indira feels worried when Sitha Ramayya coughs. Subhash asks his mother to not worry and assures her that he will take his father to the hospital in the evening. Kavya tries to take Raj’s blessings but he moves back and refuses to bless Kavya which shocks everyone. Aparna smirks. Sita Ramayya questions Raj about his behavior but Raj refuses to bless Kavya.
Later Kavya enters the room. She questions Raj as to why he created a scene in front of everyone. Raj says he didn’t accept her as his wife. Sita Ramayya comes there and hears their conversation. Kavya says she doesn’t need to stay at his house if he doesn’t accept her as his wife. Sita Ramayya leaves from there. Kavya asks Raj what is her position in his house. Raj asks her to decide by herself. Kavya asks if he acted till now. Raj. Raj comments on it. Kavya tells him she is with him due to their marriage.
