The episode starts with Ravi telling Thiru that Venba and Kavin love each other, Venba’s family is unaware of their love, soo they have fixed Venba’s marriage with him.Thiru says Saradha had told him everything beforehand. He asks to tell his boss Kavin that the engagement will happen today. He walks away. Saradha stops Thiru. She tells she has overheard his conversation with Ravi, she’s proud of him. She praises Thiru.
Sevandhi calls Thiru outside for a talk. Sevandhi lies that Venba is has difficulty to speak since her childhood. He could’ve also noticed that Venba wouldn’t have talked much to him. Thiru tells he should be lucky to get a wife who speaks less. He should feed her sweets for giving such a sweet news. He goes inside leaving Sevandhi shocked.
The priest calls Venba. Deeba goes to bring Venba. Deeba tells everyone in the family liked Thiru. Venba thinks she doesn’t like him and no one cares about it. Deeba takes Venba to the hall. Shanmugam tells he could’ve told his decision in private, what’s the need to tell it after the garland exchanging. Thiru apologizes to them. He says he should have told this before exchanging the garlands but he has put the garland around Venba’s neck considering it as a blessing for her from an elder person.
Saradha asks if Venba refused him. Sevandhi interrupts them saying none of them let Venba express what she wants, they all were just imposing their choice upon Venba. Shanmugam drags Venba and questions if she told Thiru that she doesn’t want this marriage. Thiru stops him. He reveals that Venba is already married. They all look astonished. Shanmugam asks Yazhini if it’s her plan to ruim Venba’s life.
Saradha tells her upbringing can never go wrong. Shanmugam asks Thiru who told him that Venba is already married. Thiru tells no one needs to say anything, because the thali, which is present around Venba’s neck, itself say everything. Everyone becomes startled hearing Thiru.
