BY ANIL MERANI|| Megha Chakraborty, in an interview with us, spoke about her Imli journey “My mock shoot process was scary as I had to talk in the regional dialect. I am thrilled to be part of such a big show. Many Star Plus series r leaping, so I hope Imile, too, maintains its successful run.”
What is your experience with working with Four Lions?
“I have always wanted to work with producer Gul Khan. I have not yet met her yet. But her entire team is professional, organized, and not letting to chance.”
Talking about her character, who is the daughter of Imlie, she says,”Imlie 2 is an honest family-loving village belle who does not speak English. she is scared of the crowd yet musters up the courage to do her thing. “
On again sharing screen space with Karan Vohra after Krishna Chali London, she says, “It is good to work with somebody you know as there is a comfort level. Otherwise, it takes time to break the ice and get the chem when you start shooting with someone new. We both are happy to be associating together again for Star Plus.
She finds co-star Seerat Kapoor a sorted girl and a great actor. “We make a lot of reels.”
Coming to reality shows, she says, “ I love to watch Bigg Boss; when I have time. I would refrain from taking part rather than preferring formats like Nach Baliye and Khatron Ki Khiladi.”
She says about fan response; I hope that apart from old Imli fans, new stans also join in. It was a challenge to replace someone with the same character name. I would request Sumbul Touqueer and Fahmaan Khan fans to accept us as we, too, work hard to entertain, and you will see your favourite elsewhere. As to those who love us, I am thankful to them.”
