The episode starts with Rajshri talking to Jasmeet and asking her if she still feels that Abir and Mishti’s relation is wrong.
Abir asks Parul to give prasad to Meenakshi. Kunal comes and asks Abir why he asked Meenakshi not to be part of his wedding functions. Abir understands that he felt bad and tells him that he hadn’t planned to do it but he realized that people were forcing themselves to make everything look normal but the situation didn’t seem normal even after Meenakshi apologized. Kunal agrees and asks him what he can do for him if he can help. Abir asks him to help him making Mishti’s day special.
Nanu comes and says that the sangeet will happen today only. Abir challenged the bride’s family saying that this time they will lose since Kuhu is on their side but Kuhu says that she is on Varsha’s side only. Kunal says that she is her wife at which Kuhu replies that she is a daughter first. Nidhi asks Abir and Kunal what they will do now. Abir says that they will win only. Kunal takes Abir aside and asks him how they will win now that Kuhu isn’t on their side. Abir says that they will lose only and that will be their victory too since this will make Kuhu and Mishti happy. Nanu calls Abir and he goes to him. Kunal thinks that he is a loser and if Kuhu leaves he will become a become a bigger loser and decides to do something during sangeet that will make Kuhu forget to leave him on 15th February. He looks at her and then looks on.
Meenakshi is in her room and thinks that God is with her and she can’t break. Parul comes to give her prasad. She says that she can understand her pain more than anybody else. Meenakshi cries as her son ditched her again. Parul tries calming her down and says that this pain won’t stay longer and everything will get fine. She says that Abir would have never done this if she didn’t hate Mishti so much. Meenakshi thinks about it.
Rajshri asks Vishambharnat to talk to Abir and ask him to change his decision about not letting Meenakshi be part of the wedding because she is his mother but Vishambharnat refuses recalling Meenakshi’s threats because of which he had thought about getting Mishti and Nishant married as soon as possible. He says that Abir knows who he should call in his marriage and who not. Abir overhears their conversation and gsts shocked hearing that Meenakshi threatened Vishambharnat.
Mishti comes and asks Abir what is wrong. Abir changes the topic and says that he will defeat her in sangeet. Kuhu comes and reveals that she has already thought about the theme too so they will win only. Kunal comes and says that her theme will be something stupid only which looks apparently beautiful but has no deep meaning since she hasn’t value of feelings and reminds her how she didn’t appreciate his gift. Abir tells Mishti that these are husband wife things. Kuhu calls Kunal loser and he says he is not. Kuhu says that this has to be seen when he will have to perform without a theme since she is not going to reveal what theme she has chosen. Kunal replies that it is impossible for her not to show off on social media about the theme decided or else it means she hasn’t chosen a theme yet. Kuhu gets frustrated. Abir asks Kunal not to bother Kuhu who leaves. Abir follows her asking the theme.
Vishambharnat and Rajshri look at them and Vishambharnat shows Rajshri how happy Abir looks despite everything that happened.
Kunal and Mishti are left alone and he congratulates her while she thanks him for whatever he did. Kunal asks her to tell the theme and Mishti laughs saying that she doesn’t know about it too. Rajshri says that she feels Mishti will be happy in this house.
Later Kuhu confesses to Rajshri and Varsha that there is no theme decided. Rajshri says that Kunal was right. Kuhu asks her not to take their enemy’s side and adds that she is already worried because Jasmeet isn’t ready to dance. Mishti is hiding behind a pillar and is on call with Abir who hears everything. Mishti wonders what is happening between Kuhu and Kunal. Abir tells her that Kunal is choreographing everyone and now the only thing possible is that he can lose to her deliberately. Mishti asks him if he thinks that he can win and says that he will lose only. She cuts the call and looks at the letter (kuhu and Kunal’s divorce notice) the post man gave in the morning. Rajshri comes and asks her to bring Jasmeet down somehow.
Kunal is frustrated because nobody is able to dance. Nidhi says that she is missing Kuhu a lot. Kunal asks everyone not to take name of anybody who is part of enemies’ team. Parul scolds him for calling his wife as enemy and talking to Nidhi like this. Kunal apologizes and Abir mocks him. Kunal says that they are not going to lose at any cost.
Mishti tells Kuhu that Kunal is choreographing everyone and she hasn’t even decided the theme. Rajshri, Varsha, Mishti deliberately say that they are going to lose in front of Jasmeet so that she joins them. Rajshri says that it isn’t important if they win or lose. Kuhu says that she can’t lose to Kunal. Mishti asks to decide the steps first and then they may get a theme.
Abir is trying to think about the theme too and asks Rajvansh family not to reveal it to anyone about it. Nidhi says that they can’t reveal it because they don’t know it too. Abir says that they have to remember the reason because of which they are doing all this only and Ketki asks him what is that. Her father comes and says that they are doing all this to win.
Mishti, Kuhu, Varsha and Rajshri decide to do bhangra but they aren’t able to do it. Jasmeet gets up and scolds them for dancing so badly and calling it Bhangra.
Kunal says that he isn’t going to lose to Kuhu at any cost and asks Abir to choose a theme which will leave everyone shocked. Nidhi asks Abir to think something which will make this wedding the best. Abir says that it’s MishBir’s wedding and nothing can be better of this.
Meenakshi receives a call from a man and she asks help to him saying that she will tell him what to do. Abir comes and asks her if she is planning to get him and Mishti separated. He says that he had come to apologize for doing wrong with her but now he will stand against her. Meenakshi asks him to trust her and asks him to check her mobile if he wants. Abir refuses saying that he wants to be happy today and leaves. Kunal witnesses that and feels bad seeing tears in Meenakshi’s eyes and wonders why nobody trusts her.
Kunal goes downstairs and sees Parul working. She sees him and asks if Kuhu isn’t coming back home. He asks her if she told her anything and she says that she is asking her as she doesn’t know that. Kunal wants to talk to her about something else and tells her that Meenakshi did wrong but asks if Abir is doing right with her. Parul says that Abir was strict with his mother but he was right as a would be husband. She says that when a girl leaves her house after marriage, her husband takes her responsibility so Abir did right and he would have done the same for Kuhu. Kunal thinks that he should have done that for Kuhu but he didn’t and wonders if they can have a fresh start of their life but maybe Kuhu doesn’t want to have a life with him after whatever he did.
In the evening Meenakshi looks at her family celebrating and being happy. Yeh rishtey hain pyaar ke title track plays. She wipes her tears. Nanu sees her and she looks away. She calls the man she had called before and asks him if he reached. He replies that he is coming inside.
