Episode starts with Anirudh getting irritated because of mosquitoes. Bondita says you like mosquito’s company more than me. Anirudh says I am fine. Bondita says but I can’t see you like this. She goes outside with some clothes and makes mosquito net using them. Seeing Bondita’s intelligence Anirudh thinks Bondita is so talented. She will reach heights. I will make her barrister one day. She will be torch bearer for many.
Bondita wakes up and thinks in Roychoudhuri house I used to go to toilet but here I can’t get the opportunity. Anirudh ties handkerchief on her eyes. Bondita says where is he taking her. Anirudh shows her toilet and says she doesn’t need to go to river for taking bath. Bondita gets happy. She says how could he arrange toilet within one night? Anirudh says I managed. Village women tell Bondita will she go with them or not? Bondita says no my patibabu has made toilet for me. Anirudh says to other women that they can also use the toilet. They say we are not as lucky as Bondita. They tell Bondita you are very lucky your husband loves you a lot. Bondita looks at Anirudh.
Anirudh makes one place for Bondita where she can change her clothes. Bondita becomes happy. She finds it difficult to put bindi on her forehead. She tells about it to Anirudh. Anirudh says he will buy mirror for her but right now he has one solution. He tells Bondita to look at his eyes so that she applies the bindi. He gives her instructions as well.
Anirudh prepares one case file. He gets money in return. He gets happy thinking that he will manage to give school fees of Bondita. Then he remembers about the mirror and goes to buy it.
Bondita talks to women outside. She says Anirudh locked me here as people are protesting outside. Its not safe for her to go out. One lady dressed up like a protestor pushes Anirudh. She locks the door. Anirudh removes the cover from her face and gets shocked seeing her.British officers keep knocking at the door.
Village women tease Bondita saying her patibabu loves her a lot and takes cares of her so much that he even locked her in cage. If they got a husband like him they would have madly in love. Bondita says what is being mad in love? They say if her heart beats get faster when her patibabu comes close to her then its love. She will blush as well. Bondita gets confused.
Here that lady changes her clothes and Anirudh closes his eyes. She was about to leave from there but Anirudh stops her. She says you will get burned don’t touch me. These English men are trying to rule over us which I can’t let them do. Anirudh says you are acting. That lady says you don’t want to trust me then don’t. I will get freedom for sure. My blood is boiling and if you can’t see my anger for those English men then you can tell them I am here. I am not afraid. She then jumps off the window and looks at Anirudh.
