The episode starts with Dadi saying to Mukesh to keep shagun inside. Dadi asks Rano what will she have? Rano says she will have juice. Shalu says she will go and get Lakshmi. Lakshmi comes and says Shalu called her and said they would come. Ayush says to Dadi that he needs some help. Bani says he can take Shalu’s help. Rano says to Ayush that Shalu has to help her tomorrow and says she will send Neha to help him. Ayush says he can do the work alone. Mukesh serves snacks and juice for them. Rano and Dadi talk about Lakshmi and praise her.
Kiran asks Balwinder if he came here to steal. Balwinder says to Kiran that he would not steal from the people’s houses he knows. Balwinder says he is hungry and he went to the kitchen to find something but there is nothing. Balwinder pleads with Kiran for some food. Kiran asks Balwinder to stay in his room. Balwinder agrees.
Malishka recalls what Dadi said and gets frustrated. Rishi asks Malishka why is she angry? Malishka asks Rishi why didn’t he say anything when Dadi is talking against her. Rishi says nobody goes against Dadi in this house. Malishka asks Rishi to tell Lakshmi that she will not do fast and only Malishka has this right as his lover. Rishi says he can’t do that and says Lakshmi is still his wife. Malishka asks Rishi why is he still with Lakshmi and says she made him marry Lakshmi because she loves him. Rishi agrees.
Dadi gives Bhet to Rano. Rano says she will take leave. Dadi asks Ayush to drop them at their home. Ayush agrees. Ayush talks to Shalu about Karwa Chauth and asks Shalu to do Karwa Chauth this year. Shalu says only married ladies will do Karwa Chauth. Ayush says he doesn’t know that. While they are talking Rano sees them and interrupts them. Rano says to Ayush she will sit in the front seat and Shalu will sit in the back seat. Rano takes Ayush away.
Rishi says to Malishka that she will not do Karwa Chauth this time. Malishka asks Rishi if he is doing this for Lakshmi. Rishi says he is doing this for her and reminds Malishka what happened last year. Malishka says she will do it this time as she is already suffering a lot.
Dadi gives Shagun to Lakshmi from Neelam. Dadi praises Lakshmi. Lakshmi says to Dadi that after she came to this house Dadi is the first person she connected with. Dadi says she always believed that Lakshmi is this house daughter in law. Lakshmi comments on what Dadi said and says she is happy that Rishi came home. Dadi says it is because of her. Dadi asks Lakshmi to take rest and leaves from there.
Malishka asks Rishi if he still loves her or not and asks him if he changed. Rishi says to Malishka that he hasn’t changed. Malishka questions him again and hugs him for an answer. Rishi says sometimes the answer is not a simple yes or no and says it is complicated. Lakshmi sees Malishka hugging Rishi. Lakshmi tries to leave but Rishi stops Lakshmi by holding her hand. Dadi comes and asks what are they doing? Dadi reminds them that Lakshmi has to do Karwa Chauth tomorrow. Lakshmi asks Rishi to drop Malishka at her home. Rishi goes to drop Malishka. Dadi asks Lakshmi why did she send Rishi with Malishka. Lakshmi says she knows the feeling of a broken heart and says Malishka is feeling it now. She also says she trusts Rishi.
Rishi and Malishka go in a car. Malishka asks Rishi if he would have come to drop her off if Lakshmi didn’t ask him. Rishi doesn’t answer Malishka. Malishka says there are a lot of questions today that he didn’t answer. Malishka recalls what Dadi said and asks Rishi to stop the car. Rishi stops the car. Malishka walks away from Rishi in anger.
